Jon's Workout Calendar Revision History (x5 days/week in all cases)
- Ver. 1.0 - Sometime in April - 1 mile on the NordicTrack and just that was a struggle. Hadn't done any exercise in over a year, maybe two. Needed to rest briefly after .5 miles.
- Ver. 1.5 - Mid-May - Up to 1.3 miles on the NordicTrack straight through.
- Ver 1.51 - End of May - 1 mile run during week-long trip to Illinois, in the absence of the NordicTrack. The high-impact exercise absolutely kills my legs.
- Ver. 2.0 - Beginning of June - 1.3 miles on the NordicTrack + .5 miles running + 30 sit-ups. Combo seems to work well.
- Ver 3.0 - June 30th - 1.3 miles on NordicTrack + 20-minute Bowflex workout + .5 miles running + 30 sit-ups.
Right now I'm down 20 pounds, getting twice the daily workout I was originally, and thinking the Bowflex was a pretty good investment. Not much by other people's standards, but I'm stoked. Whoooo! Now I just need to keep it going long-term.
